Branding is important for every organisation. It needs to reflect the values of the business and be consistent in its delivery. It’s a cumulative effect that builds on reputation and leaves consumers with a perception. You would hope it’s a good one.

Attract attention, give a clear message

Signage is one aspect of representing a brand. In a cluttered environment it needs to attract attention and give a clear message in seconds.  Colours, typography, images and the all-important logo create the impact.  And the message must be relevant to the audience.

Skills West Expo 2012

The recent Skills West Expo, highlighting career and training opportunities, showcased a myriad of organisations.  Held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre 10-12 August, tertiary institutions, training colleges, employers, industries and government were all competing for attention.

Banners, posters and interactive displays lured eager attendees closer to staff who were happy to answer questions or hand out informative brochures.

The event was well attended and organisers hoped to better last year’s attendance of 22,000 people over the three day event.
