Fiona Stanley Hospital

Sector

Health

Fiona Stanley Hospital and their PR agency Mills Wilson approached us to assist them in creating a visual identity for the new hospital.

The How

One of our first considerations was that the visual identity was to reflect the framework set by the State Government Common Badge Style Guide, whose rules determine the use of the State Coat of Arms and how to present the hospital as part of the State Government.

We then worked on the idea of creating a unique emblem that could incorporate and compliment the existing wordmark, Government of Western Australia Department of Health logo and the architectural design principals of the hospital.

The Outcome

The result is a graphic emblem and colour palette that reflects Fiona Stanley Hospital's ethos and values, embraces the established design and architecture and creates a strong visual identity that has been extended across internal and external collateral, marketing and promotional materials.
