EDA, the national body for economic development professionals in Australia, engaged key2 to provide a new website that would enable their members to communicate and collaborate safely and securely online.
EDA specifed a few important constraints: having been tied in to inadequate proprietary CMS platforms previously they wanted their new website to use open source software that they could transfer easily to other web agencies in future should they wish to.
Wordpress was the ideal choice, being the most popular CMS for web developers in Australia. The new EDA website includes membership management and ecommerce, document sharing, a discussion forum, and provides a variety of roles to manage content contributions from members and staff.

After a successful launch in April 2017, the website has received very positive feedback from members. Website administrators are also pleased with the ease of use of the CMS, and the reporting and management tools available to them.
